28 of 33 GOP State Representatives Support Heather
42 Sitting State Legislators Now Stand With Wilson

ALBUQUERQUE, NM – In a sign that local Republican leaders are coalescing behind her candidacy for the U.S. Senate, Heather Wilson announced endorsements today from New Mexico State Reps. Alonzo Baldonado (R-Los Lunas), Paul Bandy (R-Aztec), James Strickler (R-Farmington), Don Bratton (R-Hobbs), Don Tripp (R-Socorro), Cathryn Novich-Brown (R-Carlsbad), Bob Wooley (R-Roswell) and Albuquerque City Councilor Don Harris.

With today’s endorsements, Wilson now has the backing of 28 of 33 Republican New Mexico Representatives and more than 155 endorsements from community leaders from all corners of the state. In addition to the 42 sitting state legislators, eight former State Senators and 10 former State Representatives have joined United States Senator Pete Domenici, Congressman and former Interior Secretary Manuel Lujan and Congressman Bill Redmond in endorsing Wilson.
